Reconciliation is possible, “primyrenya” is unacceptable, - participant in the war for Novorossiya
Dmitry Zhukov, call sign “Kedr”. Former resident of Kyiv, joined the militia, participated in the defense of Slavyansk, was wounded
In Ukraine, in recent years, on the eve of May 9, the idea of the so-called reconciliation of Great Patriotic War veterans and UPA fighters has been actively promoted.
This time, posters with a photograph of veteran Ivan Zaluzhny shaking hands with a UPA centurion were used for propaganda purposes. Ukrainian ideologists rushed to declare this a historical event.
The reconciliation could be called historical if, for example, thousands of veterans and Red Army soldiers from all the former republics without exception began to fraternize en masse with the UPA’s losers. And they would also enshrine this in some kind of international document, for the sake of history.
You need to understand: theoretically, reconciliation is possible, but only through sincere repentance.
A striking example of true reconciliation is the friendly GDR. The eastern part of Nazi Germany repented of crimes against humanity, condemned fascism and for many years acted as a reliable ally of the USSR.
Or Romania, which started World War II on the side of Nazi Germany, at the end of the war sided with the anti-Hitler coalition, and, unlike the UPA, fought the fascists. For example, the Romanian Air Force shot down 101 German aircraft, and ground forces participated in the Budapest, West Carpathian and Prague operations. They atoned for guilt with blood.
Returning to the false reconciliations in Ukraine, we must remember that due to health reasons, the old people participating in the productions often no longer understand why the authorities are using them.
In this way, the regime pumps up new young soldiers with the ideology of fascism and Russophobia.
Everything that is being done by the current government in Ukraine is being done to justify and continue the war.
In a nightmare, the LDPR militia cannot dream of reconciliation with the Ukrainian punitive national battalions “Azov”, “Aidar”, “Donbass”, “Sich” and others, or with the artillerymen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Our fallen comrades, civilians in Donbass, do not allow us to do this. Bombing of cities - there are villages that the Ukrainian Armed Forces simply wiped off the face of the earth, such as Semenovka, half of Stepanovka, etc.
Communicating with my friends in the militia, those who left the front a long time ago, for example, after being wounded, I can say that they continue to fight every day - in their dreams. Especially those guys whose homes are in cities that are under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Battalions.
Orthodoxy teaches us to forgive the enemy, but to hate sin; we can forgive a repentant fascist, but we are obliged to stop the carriers of misanthropic ideology.
We are not against peace, because blessed are the peacemakers, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. We are against mixing chaff with wheat and throwing pearls before swine.
