Participants of the round table of national unity ask the Verkhovna Rada to accept the Memorandum of Peace prepared by the PR
Kharkov, May 17 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Participants of the Second All-Ukrainian Round Table of National Unity asked the Verkhovna Rada to consider and accept the Memorandum of Peace and Accord, voiced by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Party of Regions Vadim Novinsky.

As one of the moderators of the round table, ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, said, “the round table evaluates positively” the proposed memorandum and “appeals that the Verkhovna Rada consider and accept it.”
In addition, he reminded that a draft amendment to the Constitution and proposals for decentralization of power should be prepared.
According to him, the next round table may take place in Cherkassy on May 21.
As Navigator reported, today Vadim Novinsky read out the draft Memorandum of Peace and Accord prepared by the Party of Regions. The memorandum proposes to guarantee the implementation of constitutional reform, provide for the possibility of holding local referendums, securing the status of a parliamentary-presidential republic for Ukraine, simplifying the impeachment procedure, securing the status of the Russian language in the Constitution, etc.
