Participants of the rally in Moscow demanded the inclusion of Donbass in the Russian Federation
About 2 thousand people - representatives of left-wing parties and organizations, which were joined by opposition-minded monarchists such as the ex-leader of the Donbass militia Igor Strelkov, as well as the priest Vsevolod Chaplin, today took part in a rally in Moscow, where they criticized the Russian government for its liberal position.
In addition to demands for a change of government, the abolition of pension reform, the fight against corruption, the creation of an independent court, etc., the resolution contains a demand for recognition of the Donbass republics, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We demand from the Russian authorities the official recognition of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic, as well as the inclusion of these republics into the Russian Federation, if such a will is expressed by the residents of the DPR and LPR in a referendum,” the text of the resolution says.
The head of the Moscow branch of the Other Russia party, Olga Shorina, also spoke about the problem of extraditing Russian Spring participants to Ukraine.
“Why hand over former militiamen? This is just cruel, simply because they were unable to sign some piece of paper or renew the registration on time. These people, patriots of the Russian world, who shed their blood to be with Russia, are being kicked in the ass to where they will not only be imprisoned, but possibly even killed,” she said.
Shorina remembered DPR volunteer Irina Vorontsova, who had previously The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of St. Petersburg canceled the residence permit.
“Now our comrade, Irina Vorontsova, is under threat of extradition. She has been involved in politics since the 2000s, she has always been for the return of Ukraine to Russia, for the Russian World, for a common territory, for the Soviet Union, its reunification. She collected humanitarian aid and fought Ukrainian fascism and nationalism.
And now, because she simply took part in a rally on November 7 with the slogan “Ilyich, wake up, they’re crazy,” they want to send her to Ukraine, where they could really kill her as a person who has long been involved in pro-Russian politics,” added Shorina .
Let us remind you that earlier Irina Vorontsova filed an application for refugee status, which allowed her to legally stay in Russia.
