Earlier, activists tracked the movement of a bus with military personnel from Makeyevka to Donetsk.
According to him, the military were dressed in sand-colored uniforms, armed with grenades and M16 rifles, which gave reason to assume that these people were representatives of NATO troops and specially came to Donetsk to storm the Regional State Administration.
“Activists blocked the movement of a bus with military personnel. 2 people in the uniform of the Ukrainian army came to the negotiations and explained that the group had been allocated to guard the airport. Nobody believed them, and the activists punctured the bus tires,” Manekin said.
The government of the Donetsk Republic, proclaimed by the participants in the uprising, was informed about this incident. The demonstrators strengthened the barricades near the Regional State Administration building.
The political scientist noted that, despite the sleepless night, the mood of the people standing on the street was high. “Victory Day” and Soviet rockers from “Kino” are playing from the speakers, people are inspired and still determined to defend their rights.
