Lugansk, April 10 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Participants in the armed uprising in Lugansk, who seized the building of the Security Service of Ukraine, were inspired by the massive support of local residents, who on Wednesday evening came out to a rally of thousands to prevent an assault by security forces.
One of the rebels, Artem Galushkin, told Navigator about this.

“The mass rally simply inspired us - thousands of people came out in support. There was a rumor about an assault, the perimeter was cordoned off by soldiers of the Internal Troops with weapons, but in the end the militants did not take any active actions. The guys are in a fighting mood - they saw the support and intend to stand until the end,” he said.
According to Galushkin, residents of Lugansk left the rally only in the morning. Now there are demonstrators on the street, hiding in tents as it rains.
“I am a private; commanders do not report to us about the progress of negotiations with the authorities. But we are ready to continue to hold the line, if necessary, we will hold out for six months. Nobody is going home. We feel tremendous support from ordinary people,” says the fighter.
