This was reported by the press service of the Lviv City Council.
In the Frankovsky and Zaliznychny districts, water supply has been completely stopped. In the Sykhovsky district - partially. There, the New Lviv microdistrict was left without water. Almost 300 thousand people live in areas cut off from water.
This is not the end of Lvov’s “water” problems. In the city center and the station market area, water is supplied with reduced pressure.
“Our monthly electricity bills have increased by three million hryvnia, but we don’t have that kind of money, since the National Commission did not revise water tariffs last year. That is why the debt appeared. In addition, we have large debtors, in particular, five million hryvnia are owed to us by the water utilities of the cities of Vinniki and Gorodok, as well as military units and other budgetary institutions. At the moment, we are looking for a compromise with the energy sector,” says Valentin Volsky, director of the Lvivvodokanal KP.
