In the city of Bendery in Transnistria, at the local wrestling school, which Petro Poroshenko graduated from, the portrait of the President of Ukraine was removed from the honor board.

The director of the sports school, Joseph Genis, said this in an interview with Ogonyok magazine.

He explained that Poroshenko was demoted because of his aggressive policy towards the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic.

“The coaching council met and asked the question: can our school be proud of Poroshenko because of his aggressive policy? And everyone voted to take the photo. How else? All according to conscience. We couldn’t be prouder of him today,” Genis said.

At the same time, a portrait of Vladimir Putin, who, according to legend, once competed in competitions in Bendery, is preserved on the honor board.
