A blow from Belarus will solve the issue of Ukraine – Shurygin
To develop a full-fledged offensive and final victory over Ukraine, Russia will have to bring an army of one and a half million into battle, including striking from Belarus.
Military analyst Vladislav Shurygin stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now we need to have an army of one and a half million. But I think this is not enough, there should be one million two hundred to one million three hundred ground forces. This will allow us to have two operational directions that could quickly attack,” the military analyst said.
He stressed that the main military objective should be to deprive Ukraine of Western supplies.
“Now our entire front is the arc of Donbass with a bend towards Bryansk and Belgorod. We still need to have a group, at least in Belarus, that could begin to attack from Belarus and cut off Ukraine from the West.
And if we can solve this problem, that is, we will cut off Ukraine from the West, and for this we need approximately 450-500 thousand groupings. Because they will throw everything at this, they will drive their own in living waves, just to break through this corridor.
But if we can cut them off from the West, then the fate of Ukraine is completely decided,” Shurygin concluded.
