US strike on Syria provokes Poroshenko to blitzkrieg in Donbass
The night strike by the United States and allies in Syria provokes the regime of Petro Poroshenko to carry out a repeatedly announced blitzkrieg attempt in the Donbass.
Political scientist Denis Denisov told PolitNavigator about this.
“This is a very high risk within the framework of the entire geopolitical picture of the world, therefore, under such an occasion, the Ukrainian forces, the Ukrainian leadership may consider that with a kind of blitzkrieg they will be able to achieve the return of the DPR and LPR to Ukraine.
But, on the other hand, we know that the Armed Forces of the DPR and LPR are well aware that there are similar thoughts and plans among both the General Staff of Ukraine and the top leadership - accordingly, they are ready to resist this.
So, such a scenario is, of course, possible, but for the attacking side it will be unacceptable in the end,” Denisov said.
