Coal from the LDPR is conquering European markets
Donetsk coal, despite the blockade by Ukraine, is supplied to the markets of almost all European countries.
The ex-representative of Ukraine at the negotiations in Minsk, diplomat Roman Bessmertny, said this on Hromadsky TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Bessmertny noted that this causes problems for Ukraine, which faces claims due to its inability to control these flows.
“The smuggling of coal was organized, which is exported from Ukraine to Rostov. Then from Rostov it is registered as export to Ukraine. In fact, this is the same Ukrainian coal. Over the past year and a half, this coal has been found in Turkey, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia - it has begun to spread throughout Europe. Moreover, in recent years it has been revealed that this coal was supplied to even more European countries through enterprises registered in offshore zones.
The question of an energy threat arose with the advent of such quantities of this coal. Therefore, this question began to be presented to Ukraine: “You cannot stop smuggling, what are we talking about then?” Because this is a problem of European energy security,” said Bessmertny.
