The criminal rabble of ATO soldiers forms gangs of robbers
In Kyiv, VIPs are increasingly becoming victims of thieves and robbers - at least five high-profile incidents of this kind became known over the past week alone.
The Kiev online newspaper “Strana” writes about this.
The publication indicates that in a restaurant on Gorodetsky, the wallet of the head of the Kyiv office of the Council of Europe, Morten Enberg, was stolen, and in a store on Gonchar, the head of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania, Dainius Žalimas, was robbed.
One of the reasons for this trend is the emergence of the so-called “anarchists”, which are groups of touring artists who wander around the cities and do not obey any of the “shadow watchers” of the cities from the thieves in law.
In addition to the “thieves’ tours”, in the capital and the richest cities of Ukraine – Odessa, Kharkov and Dnieper, other criminal groups have appeared that are not at all within the sphere of influence of the “thieves’ move”.
“Among them are many citizens of Russia (primarily, natives of Chechnya and Dagestan), as well as Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, who before the start of the war in Donbass had problems with the law in their homeland. Typically, when they arrived in Ukraine in 2014, many of them joined volunteer battalions. But after spending some time at the forefront, some of them soon returned to their old craft and took up robberies, thefts and robbery in our state.
According to some data, such “volunteers” are involved in almost half of the criminal proceedings relating to thefts, robberies and robberies over the past three years,” writes “Strana”.
