In the next 20 days remaining before the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine, the threat of the outbreak of large-scale hostilities in the Donbass increases sharply, which would be beneficial for Petro Poroshenko. The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Konstantin Zatulin also added that Poroshenko’s American handlers are doing everything to keep their protege in the presidential post.
