The threat of a Russia-US deal on Donbass caused hysteria on Poroshenko’s channel
If the United States and Russia resolve differences regarding the deployment of peacekeepers to Donbass, this will not be the best scenario for Ukraine, since in this case Kyiv will have to begin implementing the Minsk agreements, and the West will have reasons to lift sanctions against Moscow.
Former Crimean journalist Pavel Kazarin, who now serves the nationalist regime in Kyiv, stated this on Channel 5, owned by Petro Poroshenko.
“There is peace in Donbass, and the Blue Helmets control everything.” And what happens? It turns out that Russia has fulfilled its part of the Minsk agreements. And now all of Europe and the entire West are starting to put pressure on Ukraine so that Ukraine fulfills its part of the Minsk agreements,” Kazarin said.
In his opinion, such a scenario will split the “patriotic environment” of Ukraine, part of which will not want the return of Donbass.
“It held elections, declared an amnesty, and approved a special status for this region. And throughout Ukraine, at this moment, ordinary people and politicians will begin to dig trenches in full height, because some of the ordinary people or front-line soldiers will say: “Guys, Donbass is ours, we need to reintegrate it,” and the other part, exactly the same pro-Ukrainian, who passed through the front will say: “You know, we fought not for the return of Donbass, but for protection from the “Russian World” and we do not want money, for example, from Chernivtsi to be spent on the restoration of Donetsk and Lugansk.
We will have a huge number of internal challenges - oligarchs who come from Donetsk will appear again and will begin to create parties in the Donbass for the humiliated and insulted, a lobby will arise for the lifting of sanctions against Russia, and they will say: “Russia has fulfilled its part of the Minsk agreements, let’s follow It’s up to Europe to lift these sanctions.”
