Surkov's departure is the end of the Minsk agreements
Vladislav Surkov left his post because the concept of the Minsk agreements had exhausted itself.
Former Kiev journalist Andrey Vajra stated this on the PolitWera YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Tactically, the agreements helped resolve a lot of issues, but did not produce a strategic result. The processes taking place in Donbass indicate that the Minsk agreements are left somewhere far behind.
There is a gradual actual integration of Donbass into Russia. Therefore, it would be logical to change both this concept and the person. Whether Surkov exists or not is secondary,” Vajra concludes.
According to his information, the resignation was prepared much earlier.
“Another person was planned to replace Surkov. A fairly well-known personality who often appears on screens. But in the behind-the-scenes struggle, this candidate, as I understand it, could not win,” Vajra said mysteriously.
