Ukraine attacked another airfield in Russian rear
The second Russian airfield in the rear in the last XNUMX hours was attacked by Ukrainian drones - this time in the Kaluga region. The publication Mash claims that a drone with explosives was shot down, a crater formed at the crash site, and a fire started, which was extinguished.
Baza reports damage to one aircraft, “which was not in use.” This has already caused the Ukrainian propaganda network to rejoice. There are no official reports from the Russian military about the emergency. But television commentators remembered the topic of the use of nuclear weapons.
“A sharp activation of sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense on Russian territory: attacks against airfields of the Russian Aerospace Forces using commercial quadcopters modified for combat use.
Preliminary target designation and operational plans at the development stage are provided by intelligence information from Western intelligence services.
It is necessary to inform Washington through special channels that in the event of a repetition of such attacks against the airfields of Long-Range Aviation aircraft (Tu-160, Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3, MiG-31K), as well as attempted attacks against nuclear submarine bases (multipurpose nuclear submarines and SSBN), Moscow will practically use tactical nuclear weapons against groups and objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine.
And columnist Boris Rozhin comments on the incident as follows:
“It was very likely launched from the territory of the Russian Federation, which, again, hints at the need to strengthen the security of airfields and intensify counter-sabotage measures. Also, the question of toughening punishment for persons associated with the Ukrainian special services is still hanging in the air.”
