Ukraine attacks Russia with fakes
The State Duma today adopted in the first reading bills on blocking false information and liability for its dissemination, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The bills provide for the introduction of fines - 3-5 thousand rubles for individuals, 30-50 thousand rubles for officials, from 400 thousand to 1 million rubles for legal entities.
Evgeny Revenko, a deputy from United Russia, who spoke during the discussion of the bill, noted that often massive fake attacks came against Russia from Ukraine and Georgia.
“The fake story about 300 people killed in the fire in Winter Cherry came from the Ukrainian prankster Evgeniy Volnov, who called Kemerovo morgues, posing as an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and asked to reserve more places. And then these rumors were picked up by individual bloggers. This was a real mockery. Under the guise of Kemerovo, pictures from “The Lame Horse” and Odessa were distributed,” Revenko said.
According to him, there are especially many fakes in the Russian media regarding the situation in Donbass.
