Ukraine is running in circles, not wanting to implement the Minsk agreements
Ukraine is conducting a targeted campaign to withdraw from the Minsk agreements, sabotaging the implementation of their points and distorting the facts. At the same time, the economic situation in the country is deteriorating, and all this is happening against the backdrop of the silent position of the West.

Political experts expressed this opinion in their comments to PolitNavigator.
Thus, according to political scientist Denis Denisov, at yesterday’s meeting in Minsk it was possible to agree only on the cessation of shelling from April 1 and on the withdrawal of weapons in the area of Stanitsa Luganskaya.
“Knowing the position of the Ukrainian side, there is a feeling that Kyiv is continuing a targeted campaign to try to withdraw from the Minsk agreements through sabotage, violations, and failure to comply with them. The best confirmation of this is yesterday’s statement by Kuchma’s representative Darka Olifer, who distorted everything possible, saying that the introduction of the blockade by Ukraine was a response to the adoption by the President of the Russian Federation of a decree on the recognition of documents, to the introduction of external management at enterprises with Ukrainian jurisdiction on the territory of the DPR . Thus, it twisted the whole meaning of what has happened over the past few months in Donbass. Ukraine is deliberately trying to impose a deliberately false point of view both on its fellow citizens and to relay it, pretending that no one else is monitoring the situation,” Denisov emphasized.
Journalist and political expert Armen Gasparyan agrees with him. In his opinion, Kyiv continues to pretend that it does not understand the essence of the Minsk agreements.
“Every time we expect positive news from the meeting in Minsk, at least progress in resolving issues, but, unfortunately, the Ukrainian side continues to run in circles and deliberately distances itself from resolving really serious issues. This is the very first point of the ceasefire agreements, which is violated every day, and the economic blockade of Donbass, which generally contradicts the very essence of the agreements, and so on. We see the same thing all the time. “Unfortunately, the European part of the Normandy format has so far remained silent on this matter, which is very disappointing, because they must understand that the price of their political populism is human lives,” Gasparyan said.
This policy of the Ukrainian government, according to the ex-chairman of the People's Council of the LPR Alexey Karyakin, leads to the fact that the Ukrainian economy is falling into decay.
“Ukraine is trying to play its own game to prolong the conflict and is trying in every possible way to disrupt the implementation, without making the compromises that are offered to them. In Ukraine at this time, very difficult economic and political consequences began, but, nevertheless, the country’s leadership does not perceive the full danger and continues to escalate the conflict,” Karyakin said.
As PolitNavigator reported, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine announcedthat the Minsk process ceases to exist.
