Ukraine is afraid to let Belarusian peacekeepers into Donbass
Kyiv does not want to see peacekeepers from Belarus and Kazakhstan in Donbass, arguing that “blue helmets” from these countries will act in the interests of Russia, and not follow the interests of Ukraine.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov spoke about this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel LOT, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In this context, Belarus is the replacement of sewing with soap. Because Minsk is a subject of the Russian Federation, a country that does not have its own sovereignty. In the international arena, the Russian Federation is trying to somehow present this in a neutral light, in the sense that let Belarus come in. I will not be surprised that there will be a statement from Kazakhstan to enter Donbass. But in any case they will comply with Russian policy. You shouldn’t even flatter yourself with hopes that peace and tranquility will reign there, and that in these territories the current situation will be brought into line with the Constitution of Ukraine. This will never happen,” concluded Oleg Zhdanov.
