Ukraine is bombing Donetsk, like NATO destroyed Belgrade
Over the past century, the world has experienced two world wars and two post-war systems. The first did not last long, as it was arranged completely unevenly. The second device, concluded between the two largest forces in the world that had emerged, remained stable for a long time, because it was based on the balance of two forces, two systems, and was built on a race between them.
How did the Soviet Union and the CMEA countries differ from the United States and its allies? Only one thing: in the USSR there was state capital and there was no private capital, since it was possible to give money at interest only when this interest went to a state bank and not to private hands. That is, usury was prohibited. Everything else was mostly very similar.
The collapse of the Yalta Peace began with the collapse of the Warsaw Pact bloc and the collapse of the USSR. What is happening now in Novorossiya is a phenomenon of the world order. The destabilized Yalta world is ending its existence; they are trying to save it using the stratagems of the theory of controlled chaos, developed back in the late 80s and early 90s. This is the mistake of the high-brow and short-sighted Washington, and the pseudo-theorists manipulating him. Chaos is chaos because it is impossible to control it.
The premonition of a big end, or, if you like, a big turn is felt in the eyes of the NATO Secretary General, American diplomats at the UN and other high-ranking officials who were at the ball of changing the world order and feel their powerlessness. The question is in the big game, where Russia is given the place of a plundered whipping boy, or rather, the soil for the continuation of the life of the Western world. This place is highlighted because, according to the West, it is a traditional place for Russia, and no amount of flirting with partnership will help here. Once the great peacemaker Tsar Alexander III said at a reception: Russia has only two allies - its army and its navy. And he was absolutely right.
Russia was forced to enter the First World War. She didn't want to fight. In terms of economic success, it was soon to catch up with the leading countries of the world, while being in close ties, or rather, dependent on Western countries. Just like now. The announced creation of the Eurasian Economic Union is not accidental - the EEC will create the basis for economic strengthening and independence.
They wanted to start the First World War earlier. The Balkan Games began with the wars in Bulgaria and Greece, in that Bulgaria, which some 30 years ago was liberated from the Turks by the valiant warriors of Skobelev, and they went there to the legendary march “Farewell of the Slav”.
But the peculiarity of this situation is that now is not only 1914, but also 1608-1610, that is, the period of Troubles. The Russian leadership requires great strength of prudence and caution in order to maneuver in this situation without giving up national interests. And it doesn’t give them up. The fate of Novorossiya and Donbass is a question of the future fate of Russia, and Moscow understands this (they have no right not to understand!).
So, the decision has been made. Sanctions against the Western food industry, a humanitarian convoy to Donbass of 2 thousand tons, an active position in the UN, support for the militia at the level of civil society - not even evidence, direct evidence of this. The humanitarian convoy, which is supposed to reach the LPR these days, was assembled by the people of Russia, and not by the government - this is evidence that support will be and will be strong. At the same time, Russia, no matter what anyone says, wants to save both itself and Ukraine. For Russia, the war in Ukraine is also a civil (because fratricidal) war.
While in Kosovo in 1999, I saw how Serbia was methodically and purposefully destroyed. On the first day of the war, NATO launched 500 sorties over Belgrade alone. “In the image and likeness” of their NATO bosses, “Ukrainian troops” are now methodically destroying Donbass - supposedly their own key industrial region. And this cannot but amaze: interventionists still acted in Kosovo, but here...
If the mercenaries of Kyiv mock captive militias and hunt for Russian journalists, then Russian services and troops are saving the Ukrainian military from certain death, as evidenced by the transition of an actual battalion of military and border guards to the side of Russia.
Russia “tormented” them with soldiers’ reinforced rations, while their native country could not deliver food to the battlefield. It’s just a fact: according to Anatoly Gritsenko, every third wounded Ukrainian soldier dies during transportation, while only every fifth wounded died during the Great Patriotic War. This is evidence that medical work is completely absent or at the lowest level, since assistance is provided not on the battlefield, as in 41-45, but only in the medical unit. What does this mean? Its own country (or rather, the government) treats its military worse than the imaginary enemy represented by Russia.
No matter what happens there, and no matter how events develop in Donbass, you shouldn’t forget: the feeling of the Great War is dissolved in the air, and for now, ordinary guys from Donbass who are giving their lives are protecting from it. They protect the peace and tranquility of the Moscow liberal crowd, groaning from the lack of jamon.
They say that on August 13, during the first prayer service of Bishop Onuphry as the elected Metropolitan of Kyiv, a white dove flew into the cathedral - a symbol of peace and Grace. We all need to make an effort for peace to come to our home.
