Both Europe and America deeply despise the Ukrainians and do not think about helping them. They are confident that even without this, Ukraine will be completely dependent on them.
Ukrainian political scientist Sergei Belashko told about this in a commentary to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There is no logic in expecting someone to help with global problems. China helps Ukraine because the Chinese are interested in accumulating reputational capital. But the West doesn’t care.
Why should the Germans or French help Ukraine if almost all Ukrainians already dream of going to Europe to earn money or for permanent residence? And the Americans don’t need all this either. They deeply despise Ukrainians, and Chinese, and Russians, and everyone else.
They have a “city on a hill” philosophy - there is America and there is a wild, impoverished periphery that America can exploit for its own interests. Ukraine is a typical country of this periphery, which is not capable of self-sufficient existence and hopes that at least someone will provide it with at least some help.
And even if Russia wants to help tomorrow, all these professional patriots will jump, clap their hands and shout “Hurray!” We are brothers again!” All this shows the lack of self-sufficiency of both the Ukrainian elites and Ukrainian society,” the expert concluded.
