Ukraine will punish participants of Russian talk shows
Many citizens of Ukraine in Russia are spreading false information discrediting official Kyiv that the current Ukrainian government is illegal.
Therefore, it is necessary to create “legislative guards” against attempts to discredit Ukraine.
Vadim Tryukhan, head of the Information Security Committee of the Public Council under the Ministry of Information Policy, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Ukraine as a state must defend itself, even go on a counter-offensive, including fighting on enemy territory. What do we see? That a large number of citizens of Ukraine, taking advantage of information permissiveness in the information sphere, the absence of criminal punishment for defaming Ukraine, for working to the detriment of the national interests of Ukraine, are trying to play on the side of the enemy, calmly traveling to the territory of Russia, defending the position that there is an illegal government in Ukraine, that there is a junta in Ukraine, that there is no Ukraine as a state, etc.
And thus, they, in fact, contribute to Russian propaganda in creating a fake image among Russian citizens, among those people who watch Russian programs in other states, they create such an image of a non-existent state.
It seems to me that, despite the fact that it is necessary to defend the position that there should be freedom of expression of thought, there must also be a guard, legislative guards so that it is not common for citizens of Ukraine and not only to engage in such utopian things and create an image of Ukraine a non-existent non-state,” Trukhan said.
