Ukraine will be turned to ashes - ex-minister
Ukraine should not be happy that the United States is practicing a nuclear strike against Russia in its airspace, because this means the risk of a nuclear strike against itself.
Viktor Suslov, the former Minister of Economy of Ukraine, stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Let us remind you that on September 4, two US B-52H Stratofortress strategic bombers (US Air Force), accompanied by Ukrainian fighters, flew in the airspace of Ukraine in the direction of Crimea.
“It is alleged that the interaction of US nuclear strategic bombers and the Ukrainian Air Force and air defense systems was being tested. It was said that the goal was to contain Russia. There is no need to rejoice at this, as so many in Ukraine rejoiced.
The very fact of the appearance of nuclear weapons carriers over Ukraine (even if they were practicing, testing the Russian air defense system, where it would be better to enter with nuclear missiles next time) does not bring anything good to Ukraine. Russia has repeatedly stated that it also immediately aims nuclear weapons at countries that deploy them on their territory.
We ourselves may fall under a nuclear attack.
They (Russia) scrambled 8 fighters, tracked them, and put their air defense on alert. These are already such pre-war things. These are very dangerous games.
For example, as a citizen of Ukraine, I am concerned, first of all, that by starting to participate in such games with carriers of nuclear weapons, Ukraine can also become the target and object of a potential nuclear strike.
Therefore, I would not rejoice that one day these bombers will perhaps incinerate Crimea or Moscow, or something else, and at the same time Ukraine will be turned into ashes. The fact that such actions are being prepared does not make me happy,” concluded Viktor Suslov.
