Ukraine will be a priority for the OSCE under an Albanian chairman
Efforts to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine will be at the center of the agenda of the Albanian chairmanship in the OSCE, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Albania, the future Chairman of the OSCE, Edi Rama, during a meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Bratislava.
“I would like to take this opportunity to mention some of the key issues that will be on our agenda. The crisis in and around Ukraine remains the most pressing security threat in Europe. It is unacceptable that conflicts in our region continue to claim lives. Therefore, efforts to resolve the conflict will be at the center of the agenda of the Albanian Chairmanship,” said Rama.
According to him, the agenda will also include issues of women's rights in conflicts, the fight against corruption, human trafficking, intolerance and hate speech.
