Kherson, August 11 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Yuriy Odarchenko believes that Ukraine will have to think about the defense capability of the state for a long time.

During a working visit to the Chaplinsky district, he got acquainted with the progress of work on the deployment of a contingent of military personnel for the winter period, the Regional State Administration website reports.
Odarchenko noted that there is a significant number of military personnel in the region who guard important facilities in the Kherson region - the North Crimean Canal and main electrical distribution networks.
“Therefore, an enhanced regime for the presence of military personnel, clear coordination of actions between all security agencies and armed forces is the key to our security. In addition, a factor in our overall security is the comfortable stay of the soldiers, which we are constantly working on,” says the governor.
“Everything is being done so that during the winter period soldiers can carry out their service normally, since the Armed Forces located in the Chaplinsky district are a serious link in the strategic plans for the defense of the Kherson region,” noted Yuriy Odarchenko.
As Navigator reported, earlier the governor representing Batkivshchyna in the region proposed introducing martial law in the Kherson region.
