Ukraine: former ATO militants form gangs and engage in raiding
Having returned from the ATO zone, the Ukrainian military does not want to go to work in factories; they join gangs and help raider takeover of enterprises.
Political scientist Valentin Gladkikh stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why don’t we want to notice that Ukraine is on the verge of a criminal redivision of the country? A person who once picked up a weapon will not return to the plow. I personally have two friends who, after returning from the ATO, have no desire to return to the carriage building plant and work there for five thousand hryvnia. Thank God, there is now a demand for their services, we have enough raider attacks in Ukraine and those who want to protect themselves from them,” he said.
The briefing speaker tried to interrupt the speaker so that he would not reveal the truth that it is the “ATO soldiers” who form the backbone of the raider gangs, but Valentin Gladkikh continued:
"What's wrong with that? People who watch us must realize what danger awaits Ukrainians,” said the political scientist.
Valentin Gladkikh, using the example of Georgia, told what awaits Ukraine if it turns a blind eye to the fact that after the ATO, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are doing their best to avoid work.
“I have repeatedly spoken about Georgia: the criminal gangs Mkhedrioni and Kitavani were formed on the basis of patriotic organizations. It all ended in a banal criminal enterprise. Ukrainians need to be aware of the risks this may lead to. If there is a war, then there will be people who will make money from it,” he concluded.
