Ukraine shelled Russian territory for the fourth time in a day
Ukraine shelled another border settlement in Russia. This time the village of Zhuravlevka in the Belgorod region came under fire.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There was shelling from the Ukrainian side of our village Zhuravlevka. There is damage to residential buildings and social facilities. There is no information about casualties or injuries. A state of emergency has already been declared in this village, and people have been taken outside its borders. More detailed information will be available after a detailed survey of the territory,” Gladkov wrote.
After 40 minutes he added:
“Unfortunately, there is a victim in Zhuravlevka. This is a local resident of thirty-seven years old. He received a slight shrapnel wound in the forearm. Now he is receiving all the necessary medical care. We will find out later, after he recovers, what he was doing at home when the state of emergency was introduced.”
“That is, you understand, right? Russians are being evacuated from the frontline zone", - military correspondent Alexander Kots commented on the news.
This morning the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the village of Klimovo in the Bryansk region. 7 people were injured. Including a pregnant woman and her two-year-old son. Then he came under mortar fire from the Ukrainian side of the checkpoint, also in the Bryansk region.
In addition, the village of Spodaryushino in the Belgorod region was shelled.
Yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian army would strike the buildings in which the Kyiv authorities are located in the Ukrainian capital if Ukraine does not stop attacking the border regions of Russia.
Previously, attacks were carried out from the territory of Ukraine on the Belgorod and Rostov regions of Russia and the Republic of Crimea.
From April 11, in the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions bordering Ukraine, in two border districts of the Voronezh region, in the north of Crimea and in several districts of the Krasnodar Territory, a yellow level of terrorist danger was introduced until April 25.
