“Ukraine, come on your own”: the EU is completely removed from the settlement in Donbass - Kiev expert
Neither Germany nor the EU as a whole will quarrel with Russia and help Ukraine end the war in Donbass on terms favorable to Kyiv.
Political scientist Ruslan Bizyaev stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“An attempt to galvanize a corpse, and the Minsk process is actually a political corpse, is virtually doomed to failure. Yes, it is not a problem to implement the Steinmeier formula into the legislation of Ukraine - to add two or three phrases to the law. What next? Execute how?
The Steinmeier formula is, in fact, the first step towards holding elections. And the President’s Office categorically does not want to conduct any direct dialogues with representatives of the so-called LPR and DPR,” he said.
Ruslan Bizyaev emphasized that over seven years it has become obvious that Kyiv will not agree to implement the Minsk agreements.
“The position of the new coalition in Germany will be as follows: “Guys, you and Russia will come to an agreement there. And we nod our heads, bless, and move on.”
Because the EU is now categorically not ready to quarrel with either China or Russia. Europe has set a course for sovereignty, and those countries that will follow the policies of the Biden administration will be sent in,” the expert concluded.
