Ukraine has been demilitarized, it’s the West’s turn – Sivkov
Russia fulfilled one of the main tasks of the Northern Military District by demilitarizing Ukraine. This refers to the complete destruction of its military equipment. Now the task will be to demilitarize the West, which has taken over the full supply of Ukraine with its weapons and equipment.
Konstantin Sivkov, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Missile and Artillery Troops, stated this on ORT, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The very fact that the West started talking about the possibility of transitioning to the use of nuclear weapons shows that the West recognizes that Russia won the first stage of the initial period of the war, and this is fundamental. We destroyed all the equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces that was available at the beginning of hostilities. And from this point of view, we have demilitarized it.
Now they are fighting with the equipment that the West supplied them, and nothing more. There is almost no Soviet equipment left there, I mean the original Ukrainian one. There is something, but it’s tiny. Therefore, if we speak from this point of view, the task of demilitarizing Ukraine has practically been completed. Now the militarization of Ukraine by the forces of the West is already underway, and this is a different task - this is not the task of demilitarizing Ukraine, but the demilitarization of the West. This is a completely different task. In any case, such a task will exist, because without it we will not survive,” concluded Sivkov.
