Ukraine keeps participants of the Russian Spring in Odessa in bestial conditions
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko published photographs indicating bestial conditions of detention in the Odessa pre-trial detention center, where, among other things, some participants in the Russian Spring continue to be held for more than five years.
“Look at the conditions in which prisoners are kept in the Odessa pre-trial detention center. And even if these people really committed crimes, they are still people, not beasts. It is in such conditions that it is easiest to become bitter, embittered and lose the last hope for the best and faith in oneself. And what unsanitary conditions are there in the so-called kitchen?! It just makes the hair on my head stand on end!” – Zhuravko comments.
