Ukraine voluntarily renounced part of the territory of Donbass
Ukrainian officials “lost” part of the settlements of the Khartsyzsky district of the Donetsk region, forgetting to include them in the list of those controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. As a result, residents of these settlements do not receive pensions or other social benefits. Deputy Minister for Occupied Territories Georgiy Tuka stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In general, a whole piece of the Khartsyzsk region, it so happened that during this entire active phase, it fell out of attention. And it doesn't exist at all. Now people who live on our territory, Khartsyz district, in populated areas, they actually cannot receive either pensions or social benefits, they cannot re-register any civil acts, be it marriage, because these populated areas are not located in the list of settlements in which Ukraine exercises its powers,” Tuka said.
