Ukraine must prepare for the parade on Red Square – Chernovol
So far, the state of the Ukrainian army does not allow carrying out offensive operations in the Donbass, writes Taras Chernovol, a former ally of Viktor Yanukovych, who today acts as a political expert, in an article published in the online publication “Apostrophe”.

“Now it is necessary to understand that a full-scale war in Lugansk and Donetsk will not be a war against the LPR and DPR. This will be a war against the Russian army, says the author. - Yes, we can start it. But, firstly, those who call for this must be the first with their children and relatives to sign up as volunteers and go to the conflict line, the first to face the blow, the first to die in the first 20 minutes of the war. And secondly, starting a direct war with offensive operations against such an enemy as Russia is only possible in one case: when we can count on having the strength to hold a victory parade not in Donetsk or Lugansk, but on Krasnaya square in Moscow."
“Yes, we will win someday,” writes Chernovol. – Only by then we will lose about two million Ukrainian citizens. Russia will lose more, but we are not interested in their losses. We will lose both the integrity of the state and economically everything we have.”
“A military alternative to the Minsk negotiations is complete absurdity. Because we are not fighting against the puppet LPR and DPR, we are fighting against the Russian army in its entirety,” argues Yanukovych’s ex-comrade-in-arms.
