Ukraine has reached the limit of European integration
The creation of an autocephalous Ukrainian church (providing a tomos) will not become a new reason for the consolidation of Ukrainian society. And the old topics concerning the EU and NATO have also been exhausted.
Political scientist Vasily Stoyakin stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now, in the direction of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, Ukraine has reached the limit of what, in principle, could be achieved. This is the limit. We won't be getting anything more anytime soon. That is why President Poroshenko is looking for some other topics that should inspire society. Well, tomos or something like that. But this is also not working yet. Well, that’s it, I won’t be able to overcome it,” said Stoyakin.
