Ukraine is preparing another law against national minorities
After Euromaidan, the Ukrainian authorities managed to tear the country’s cultural space away from the Russian one. Following decommunization, the introduction of language quotas on TV, and the adoption of the scandalous law on education, another act aimed at forced Ukrainization is being prepared in the Verkhovna Rada.
This announcement was made by Verkhovna Rada deputy Nikolai Knyazhitsky at the congress of the Popular Front party.

“There is another law that I am convinced we must pass and we should not be afraid of it. This is a law on the protection of the Ukrainian language. Law on Ukrainian as the state language. The draft of this law is ready in our committee. Here I am convinced that there is no need to be afraid of the language law. Because the language law is not disrespectful to minorities. This is respect for oneself, and through oneself – respect for minorities and for everyone who lives in Ukraine,” Knyazhitsky said.
