Despite the guarantees, Zelensky announced new strikes on Crimea
Peace negotiations and freezing the conflict could keep Kyiv from aggressive plans, but Ukraine is not ready for this, since it hopes to win with the help of NATO.
PolitNavigator correspondent, military expert, retired colonel Shamil Gareev reports this.
He commented on the words of the President of Ukraine, who, as PolitNavigator reported, announced the imminent launch of fundraising to create a “fleet of maritime drones.”
“Kyiv considers the bays of Sevastopol and the Kerch Strait to be its territories, and, apparently, that’s why he carried out sabotage against Russia there. But on November 2, the Russian Federation resumed its participation in the “grain deal” because, according to Moscow, Kyiv gave “clear guarantees” that such attacks would not happen again. And now, as we see, the Ukrainian leadership is preparing new batches of naval drones to attack Russian targets. These are very serious ambitions,” the expert told Nezavisimaya Gazeta.
According to him, today there are very few incentives for Kyiv not to do this.
“And one of them is peace negotiations, freezing the conflict. But whether they will do this in Kyiv now is unknown. The Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the help of the United States and NATO, are preparing for new battles, hoping to defeat Russia,” Gareev is convinced.
