“We have heard a huge number of statements in this regard. The position of even the foreign policy department has changed several times. At first, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that the visa regime was irrelevant, it would only do harm. Then, due to the development of internal political processes in this country, statements began to change in the other direction. Calls have begun for the development of a hybrid visa regime.
If a decision is made, we will consider it. Hypothetical statements are inappropriate, because the political crisis in Ukraine is changing, the weather is unstable,” Zakharova said, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Earlier, the Kommersant newspaper, citing sources in the government and the Verkhovna Rada, reported that Kyiv intends to tighten the rules for entry into Ukraine for Russians. It will be possible to enter Ukraine only with a biometric passport.
