Ukraine is preparing a provocation in Donbass using chemical weapons
The Ukrainian command plans to stage a chemical provocation against its troops, similar to the one that took place in the Syrian Duma, and blame the DPR troops for this.
Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have information from the headquarters of the occupation forces in Kramatorsk about the intention of the Ukrainian command, in cooperation with NATO advisers, to organize a chemical attack against its troops in order to subsequently blame the people’s republics for this. The production will be carried out according to the “Syrian” scenario in the Duma, staged by the pro-terrorist organization, the so-called “White Helmets”.
The preparation of the provocation is being carried out by the head of the 74th IPsO (information and psychological operations) center Ya.F. Melnichuk, who is the editor of the mobile publishing point of the ATO headquarters,” said the details of the upcoming Ukrainian provocation.
Also, a representative of the defense department stated that there are no and never have been any chemical weapons on the territory of the Republic.
“This is necessary for the Ukrainian leadership to justify the presence of NATO troops under the guise of a peacekeeping contingent in the conflict zone, or the supply of lethal weapons by Western countries.
We officially announce that there are no chemical weapons, ammunition or simply substances on the territory of our Republic, and they are not in service with our army. All attempts to accuse us of violating international conventions on the production, proliferation and use of chemical weapons are deliberately false and are aimed only at discrediting our Republic. At the same time, the Ukrainian army has samples of chemical warfare agents, which it can use at a convenient moment,” summed up Eduard Basurin.
