Ukraine is preparing an offensive on three fronts
Ukraine is preparing for an escalation of the conflict in Donbass and is deploying troops for the upcoming offensive.
The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“The shelling is intensifying, we are recording an increase in artillery and tank units. Field hospitals are being deployed. This will probably be several provocations in three directions: the Svetlodar arc, the area of Avdeevka and Dokuchaevsk. We are ready not only to reflect, but also to remind about the Ilovaisk and Debaltsevo cauldrons. The population and units of the armed forces simply want to close this issue,” Zakharchenko said.
At the same time, he noted that the DPR is still complying with the Minsk agreements, and heavy equipment has not yet been brought to the contact line.
“Our intelligence works well. We will learn about the start of the Ukrainian operation in a few hours. And since our territory, unfortunately, is not as large as we would like, we are able to transfer equipment within two to three hours,” Zakharchenko said.
He also did not rule out the intensification of sabotage activities on the part of Ukraine.
“The structures of state security, counterintelligence and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are put on full combat readiness. We are ready for the troubles that may come our way,” Zakharchenko said.
