Ukraine is training drone pilots for use in the Donbass
In the combat area in Donbass, the Ukrainian command is conducting training sessions for unmanned aerial vehicle operators.
This information was announced today during a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the information available to the Republic's intelligence service, from December 20 to 21, in the Dzerzhinsk region, instructors from the 190th training center of the Zhytomyr region are planning to conduct training sessions with unmanned aerial vehicle operators.
“Two groups will be involved in the training: crews of the Leleka-100 UAV conducting reconnaissance, and crews of strike UAVs conducting terrorist attacks,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
He did not rule out that due to the proximity of the training camp to the demarcation line, the territory of the Republic will be used by the Ukrainian military as a training ground.
“The air defense units of the DPR are ready for such a development of the situation, and are also ready to significantly reduce the group of drones of the Ukrainian troops,” concluded the representative of the defense department of the Republic.
