Ukraine is preparing to launch missile strikes on Crimea
Ukraine will create land-, air- and sea-based missile weapons in order to be able to strike the territory of Crimea and the Black Sea in order to prevent a blockade of Ukrainian ports.
Deputy Director of the Institute of World Politics Nikolai Beleskov stated this on air on the Chernomorskaya TRK TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Until we gain the ability to strike on land, that is, against the group in Crimea, we will be in an unequal situation. The Russians will also have a surface component - ships of the Black Sea Fleet, ships of the FSB coast guard. On the other hand, they will be covered by everything that is in Crimea.
If we create ground-based anti-ship systems - mock-ups and concepts have already been demonstrated at the exhibition in Abu Dhabi, the Luch design bureau demonstrated the launcher, what it will look like, that is, there is already an understanding. If they also create an air-based system, this will already be a big plus for Ukraine. It will be possible in the event of a blockade - now this is the greatest threat, an economic blockade, it will be possible to solve tasks, to clear up, roughly speaking, this blockade...
First, they will create ground-based anti-ship missile systems, then air-based ones based on the Su-24M bomber, and then they will create missile boats. And there will be an opportunity to strike and have a powerful presence in the exclusive maritime economic zone,” Beleskov said.
