Ukraine is preparing to approve an anti-Russian national security doctrine
In Ukraine, they are preparing a new national security doctrine, in which the Russian Federation will be designated as enemy No. 1. Secretary of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security Ivan Vinnyk stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Judging by his words, in the new doctrine the powers of the president will be increased, but Vinnyk did not voice specific points, proposing to wait for the president to officially submit this document.

“We, in principle, have a valid law, but the conditions and risks, security challenges that Ukraine faces today have seriously changed. In addition, Ukraine obviously has other priorities, namely integration into the Euro-Atlantic security space, into the European Union in the context of national security. In such conditions, Ukraine needs to adopt new principles for ensuring national security, the vertical and hierarchy of decision-making, in connection with ensuring national security, in accordance with the challenges that exist today, including Russian aggression, and measures to repel this aggression. Therefore, we expect the official text to be submitted to parliament. I hope Ukraine will see his project next session week,” Vinnyk said.
