Ukraine threatens to recruit new cannon fodder for Russian nuclear missiles
In response to the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus, Ukraine may announce additional mobilization.
The head of the Servant of the People presidential faction in the Ukrainian parliament, David Arakhamia, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in an interview with the British television channel Sky News.
“If Putin fulfills his promise and deploys tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, Ukraine will have to recruit even more people into the army,” the deputy said.
According to him, Ukrainians do not yet take this threat seriously.
“But experience has shown that anything can happen,” Arakhamia added.
As PolitNavigator reported, on Saturday the Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia intends to build a storage facility for tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus by July 1.
In addition, Russian experts named goals for nuclear strike on Poland.
