Ukraine faces the loss of eight more regions
Ukraine may lose a number of more regions if another Maidan begins in the country.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Evgeniy Muraev stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, public confrontation will give the authorities a reason to introduce a state of emergency, and neighbors from the east and west to declare claims to their ancestral territories.
“I understand that thanks to the pseudo-reforms that we have undergone since 14, the institutions of power have been completely “reformed”, that is, destroyed. That is, the reform of the National Police destroyed the last remnants of the law enforcement system and, in fact, it is impossible to oppose anything to any civil confrontation.
And this will give the opportunity either to an attempt to introduce an emergency situation and, accordingly, limit the rights and freedoms of our citizens, or to our neighbors to occupy their original territories, as they believe. I mean both Europe and the Russian Federation, so that no one doubts. We have eight regions at risk,” said Muraev.
