Ukraine and Belarus are suffering colossal losses due to their Russophobic policies - expert
The Russophobic policies of Minsk and Kyiv will result in colossal financial losses and the loss of the cheap oil market for these countries.
Chairman of the Council of the Union of Oil and Gas Industrialists of Russia Yuri Shafranik stated this during a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What I call confrontation intervenes (in the oil market - editor's note) - political factors, when sanctions are imposed, when a whole range of different decisions are made, but not pragmatically economic, but definitely confrontational, and this is no longer a market, this is already not competition.
If you need to return to the market and competition, then, of course, you need to agree with Russian suppliers, and the government of the Russian Federation, and consumers, and the government of Belarus about what is competitive... Russia-Belarus - win for both sides. Russia has a market, Belarus has raw materials and processing,” he emphasized.
The expert also noted that Kyiv and Minsk will suffer huge financial losses for their Russophobia in the oil market.
“But Odessa-Brody since 1993, no matter what they’ve been naming since then, no matter what they wanted to do then, since 1993 we’ve been saying: “You’re welcome, but it won’t be profitable, in the end, this system is falling.”
If Ukraine or Belarus is ready to pay for political aspects with their budget, then you can’t trample on it. Then Belarus will tell Russia: “We can buy only 30%, and we will take 70% from others, but no matter what the conversation is about, it will be about money and who will it hang on,” Shafranik concluded.
