Ukraine and Moldova are preparing a new attack on Transnistria from January 1, 2018
Despite the assurances of Moldovan President Igor Dodon, Ukraine and Moldova have been wanting to impose sanctions against citizens of Transnistria, who are also Russian citizens, since 2018. For everyone who does not have biometric passports of Ukraine and Moldova, restrictions will be introduced when crossing the border.
President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky told reporters about this.

“This is a matter of the negotiation process. Although I would like to remind you that the same Mr. Dodon promised that there would be no problems. And then we see announcements at the border. We will not allow the rights of Pridnestrovian citizens to be infringed. If these actions are real in time and space, we will take asymmetrical measures of an appropriate nature,” Krasnoselsky said.
He intends to meet with Igor Dodon in October and hopes that this meeting will be constructive.
“I am ready to meet with any official from the Republic of Moldova who makes decisions on the problems that exist today. The most important thing is that the dialogue is functional. So that meetings are not for the sake of meetings and declarations. So that at least some problems on Moldova’s side are resolved, so that there is something to discuss,” Krasnoselsky said.
