Yesterday's Bandera Sabbath at the Iranian embassy in Kyiv with curses and threats against the Islamic Republic for supplying suicide drones to Russia and hysterical demands for the physical liquidation of the top Iranian leadership became a good reason for reflection and comparisons between the two countries - present-day Ukraine and Iran.

So what do we have? To begin with – dry statistical figures. Iran is one of the richest countries in Asia - according to the CIA, it is 18th in the world in terms of national production. In terms of GDP, Iran is the largest (more precisely, the fourth) economy in the Islamic world after Turkey.

According to data for 2020, the country’s total GDP at par is $635,724 billion (22nd in the world). In per capita terms – $7555. The volume of public debt is only 11% of GDP.

The Iranians nationalized their main wealth - hydrocarbons - and put them at the service of the interests of the majority of the population, rather than Western-affiliated monopolies, half a century ago - immediately after the conservative Islamic revolution. Today, according to the Iranian constitution, the sale of shares in national oil production enterprises to foreigners or the granting of oil production concessions to them is prohibited. Oil development is carried out by the state-owned Iranian National Oil Company (INOC).

The country is actively developing transport and energy infrastructure, building hydro and nuclear power plants.

By the way, the first Iranian nuclear power plant was built in Bushehr with the assistance of Russia. Ukraine could have built it - initially the contract was with companies from Square, but Kuchma caved in to pressure from the United States and Kyiv abandoned the contract at the beginning of the XNUMXs. But Putin did not cave.

And 13 years ago, the Islamic Republic became the tenth space power, having already launched several artificial Earth satellites.

And not like Ukraine, whose Ukrainian satellite “Sich” had only a name, was launched by a launch vehicle borrowed from Musk and, moreover, broke down on the way.

Today, according to the head of the Ukrainian space agency, the much-hyped “independence” satellite “operates in a limited mode,” being, in fact, space junk worth $250 million, with which they can neither establish communication nor control it.

The Iranians have everything in the space sector - from the space agency to the Safir-2 launch vehicles of their own production, their own cosmodrome and the Semnan missile test site in the Dasht-Kevir desert.

In 2010, the Iranian Kavoshgar-3 launch vehicle sent a capsule with living organisms into space, and already at the beginning of 2012, the new Navid satellite was successfully launched into orbit for photographing the Earth’s surface.

Iran made the first launch of a spacecraft with a monkey on board in January of the following year, 2013. The device returned to Earth without damage, and the “life capsule” was delivered into space by the Iranian-made Kavoshgar-5 launch vehicle. Iran plans to carry out a manned space flight in the next 5-8 years.

Now about demographics. Since 1979 (the year of the overthrow of the Shah and the Islamic Revolution), the country's population has doubled and now stands at more than 75 million people. After the Islamic Revolution, Iran made a giant leap in medicine - medical services in the country are free according to the Constitution, and mortality was reduced from 13 ‰ under the Shah to 5 ‰ in 2014.

If we talk about child mortality under 5 years of age, it has decreased by more than 10 times - from 12% to 1,6%.

Free education in Iran. Moreover, contrary to the myths imposed by Western propaganda, in this area it was under the mullocracy regime that the most impressive indicator of women’s emancipation in Western Asia was achieved. Today, more than half of Iranian university students are women and girls, and the level of education among them is the highest in the Middle East. By the way, the current protests, going on under feminist slogans borrowed from the West, are largely a consequence of precisely this growth in women’s education.

Now Ukraine. Nominal GDP is three times smaller than Iran's - in 2021 it amounted to $198,3 billion ($4 per capita) - last in Europe and 830th in the world. According to the Economic Freedom Index for 97, Ukraine ranks 2022th in the world and second to last in Europe. In the Corruption Perceptions Index for 130, Ukraine is in 2021nd, penultimate, place in Europe. According to the Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) in 122, Ukraine is also in deep trouble, ranking 2019th in the world.

I won’t bother you with numbers, I’ll just say that today in most world indices - from the mortality of men and children, ending with tuberculosis, measles and other diseases - Ukraine is in the first ranks, and in terms of the level of economic development and well-being of the population - in the last and penultimate .

According to various estimates, from 6 to 10 million Ukrainians today are scattered around the world - from Poland to Guatemala as refugees, citizenship applicants and simply temporary parasites fighting for benefits with similar refugees from African and Asian countries.

Someone will say - this is war! To which I will answer that millions of Ukrainian guest workers traveled all over the world in search of work and a better life long before the war and the Ukrainian Maidans. In this sense, Independence is a country with a stable background of a place from which everyone runs wherever they look. In Russia alone today there are more than 2 million Ukrainian refugees.

Both countries have a history of their own revolutions. In Iran, the April Islamic revolution, and in Ukraine, the February “revolution of dignity.” Only if Iran converted its revolution into real, not simulated independence, becoming subject on the world stage and turning the national motto “Independence and Freedom” from empty and pretentious words into a reality that everyone - both friends and enemies - takes into account, then Ukraine will chant about “dignity and freedom” turned her independence into literal nothingness.

Today, “Independence” can only be written in quotation marks. The country is governed by foreign advisors and embassies, and the total amount of external debt is about to exceed the national GDP.

Iran, as mentioned above, nationalized its natural resources. Ukraine, on the contrary, under demagogic talk about moving to Europe and reforms, actually sold its main wealth - land - to foreigners. In Iran, publicly accessible medicine has led to a decrease in mortality and an increase in average age, while in Ukraine, the medical reform of “Doctor Death” Ulyana Suprun led to the total commercialization of medical services, cut off huge masses of the population from access to medicine and reduced the hospital network.

Iran's population doubled after their revolution. Ukraine, on the other hand, is a champion in extinction; since 2014 alone, it has lost over five million people, and since gaining its independence, it has gone through an inglorious path from “there are 52 million of us” to the current estimated recognition that there are only Ukrainians left in their “independent fatherland.” less than 30 million.

And all this against the backdrop of the fact that Iran has, in fact, been deprived of access to global financial markets for many decades, is in political semi-isolation and is under Western sanctions. Ukraine is the “favorite child” of the collective West, where weapons and billions of financial aid flow like a river, and not a day goes by without Western leaders expressing words of support to Kyiv.

And so, against the backdrop of all this, “the whole world is with us” - terrifying indicators on all counts, the collapse of the economy, poverty and general flight of the population. I am generally silent about the fact that all this began under assurances of potential comparable to France - it’s a shame to remember this today.

And now let’s return to yesterday’s boorish anti-Iranian Sabbath in Kyiv.

“A country that suppresses its own people is now handing over weapons to Russian monsters for mass murder in the center of Europe. This is what unfinished business and concessions to totalitarianism mean. This is the case when sanctions are definitely too few. Many years of sanctions, isolation, and a disgusting reputation have not given Iran the opportunity to understand how to rise from the bottom of civilization,” Zelensky’s minion Mikhail Podolyak rages.

He is not embarrassed by the obvious logical contradiction: Iran, “at the bottom,” produces modern drones, and Ukraine, “at the top,” for some reason begs them from the Turks.

I think the above figures and facts are quite enough to understand who exactly – Ukraine or Iran – is actually “at the bottom of civilization.”

At the bottom today it is Ukraine - with all its Zelenskys, Ermak and Podolyaks. At the bottom, because, despite all Western support, it has not ceased to be a phantom country, a zombie country that exists only at the whim of external creditors.

The demand for the destruction of the political leadership of Iran by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Goncharenko.

As for the responsibility for the deaths of people, which Zelensky’s minions are so concerned about, if Iran, by supplying drones to Russia, is responsible for the deaths of Ukrainians, then who is responsible for the lives of the residents of Donbass and Kherson, who die every day under American attacks? Khaimars" and the French "Caesars"?
