The former head of the People's Council of the LPR, Alexey Karyakin, stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator, commenting on a telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the leaders of the LPR and DPR.
According to him, Ukraine has exhausted its credibility and is required to take real action.
“Many people noticed that both the LPR and the DPR are mentioned without the prefix “self-proclaimed.” In addition, the other day the State Duma raised the issue of recognition of our republics by the Russian Federation. This suggests that Russia is giving Ukraine the last chance to stop the genocide of the residents of Donbass. In addition, in the world political arena there were also Gerhard Schröder's statement that Ukraine is waging war against Donbass. All these events indicate that Ukraine has exhausted its credibility and no one believes in Poroshenko’s empty promises. The time has come to force Ukraine to fulfill the promises that were voiced and signed by Poroshenko,” Karjakin said.
