Ukraine has exhausted its reserves to continue the ATO, - head of airmobile forces
Kyiv, November 13 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Ukrainian reserves are being depleted: in the last three months alone, the ATO forces have lost at least five thousand people.
This was stated by Ivan Yakubets, who served as head of the airmobile forces of Ukraine in 1998 - 2005, during a round table in Kyiv, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Today, talking about a professional army in a poor and impoverished state is a gamble,” he believes. – It’s impossible to do. Therefore, we are talking about the need to have a mixed army, because over the past three months we have lost about five thousand, if not more, professionals. For various reasons - wounded, killed, missing. Three months will pass - we will lose so much more. Where will we get our reserves from? Reserves are drawn from trained fighters, but there are none, which means we need conscription into the army in order to prepare people systematically, and not rush to the front two months later.”
At the same time, Yakubets emphasized that it is impossible to predict how the events in Donbass will end for Ukraine, but does not rule out that the war will drag on for ten years.
