Ukraine has exhausted its political agenda with the United States
The United States did not help Ukraine by organizing a serious political presence at the Crimean Platform forum.
Former speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Voloshin stated this on air on the First Independent TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian-American political agenda is almost exhausted. Yes, there will be routine words of support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine. But even the fact that the US Secretary of Energy was sent to Ukraine on the “Crimean Platform” to talk not about Crimea, but about Nord Stream 2, shows that the Americans do not want to give Ukraine serious political advances,” said the deputy.
“Even on such a seemingly obvious issue for them as Crimea. Everyone knows that the United States consistently criticizes Russia for the fact that Crimea was taken by force from Ukraine. Everyone knows that the United States has imposed serious sanctions against Russia. They could have provided a serious political presence, but they did not,” Matvienko concluded.
