Ukraine is looking for 3,7 billion euros for the completion of two power units at the Khmelnytsky NPP
The cost of completing the third and fourth power units of the Khmelnitsky NPP is 3,7 billion euros. This amount is contained in a document on a feasibility study for the launch of two new reactors. True, Ukraine does not have that kind of money.

This was announced by the General Director of KHAEAS Nikolay Panashchenko.
According to him, the project is currently undergoing state examination, after which it will be transferred to the Cabinet of Ministers.
“Only after government approval can nuclear workers begin the preparatory period for completing the construction of power units. We need to conduct an inspection of existing buildings and structures, because more than 5 years have passed since the last inspection,” noted the KhNPP General Director.
During a working visit to the Khmelnitsky NPP in the city of Netishin, Vladimir Groysman said that the government would seek funds for the completion of the Khmelnytsky NPP power units. True, the head of government did not name specific sources of funding or deadlines.
