Ukraine tests new missiles on civilians
Ukraine is actively using home-made missiles in the Donbass, including against civilians, in order to advertise military products to potential buyers.
Representative of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin stated this on the Union TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The current trend is the use of anti-tank missiles, so-called ATGMs. Ukraine has recently been promoting its defense complex everywhere, saying that they are producing new types of weapons, including these systems. These missiles are terrible for their destructive power and high accuracy of impact, which is adjusted during flight, because it can be controlled.
We can say for sure that these systems are tested in combat conditions directly by firing both at positions and, very often, at residential buildings,” Basurin noted.
He also stated that in this way Kyiv advertises its products to make them easier to sell, including through illegal channels.
“The only task is to show future buyers their effectiveness, because Ukraine sells weapons all the time, legally and illegally. And these methods of demonstration live, in combat conditions, would be very interesting for the buyer, this is not a picture that was specially filmed at some training ground,” the officer added.
